Do you remember when everyone got really excited that Microsoft was adding backwards compatibility to the Xbox One? I do. and it was going to be awesome. Do you also remember that most of the games weren’t anything that you wanted to play. Yes, there were a few favorites in there like Assassin’s Creed, Fallout 3, and a bunch of the Gears of War games. As a whole, there was a ton of filler that most people never owned and there is probably no rush to pick them up.

Well today you can get excited again because now there are even more Xbox 360 games that you probably don’t want to play but have the ability to if you ever wanted to. These titles will now work on the Xbox One:

  • Braid
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  • Doritos Crash Course
  • Fable III
  • Halo: Reach
  • Hydro Thunder
  • Iron Brigade
  • Kane & Lynch 2
  • Motocross Madness
  • Ms. Pac-Man
  • Peggle
  • Portal: Still Alive
  • Spelunky
  • Splosion Man
  • Ticket to Ride
  • Zuma’s Revenge!

Sarcasm aside, the backwards compatibility feature works incredibly well on the Xbox One and is totally worth checking out if you are ever in the mood to revisit those Xbox 360 games that are collecting dust on the shelf. Unfortunately Microsoft is making some rather interesting, some may say disappointing choices, on what is getting backwards compatibility and what is not.
