As a series fan of Silent Hill it is promising to see projects like Death Stranding come together.

Hideo Kojima accepted the award that Konami previously forbade him from receiving last night.  Afterward, he pulled a Steve Jobs and gave us a “one more thing“.  The second Death Stranding trailer was then revealed.  Although this trailer does not show us any gameplay, it most certainly paints a dire atmosphere.  This second trailer also reveals that Guillermo del Toro’s likeness does have a presence.  In addition to this reveal, Mads Mikkelsen from Hannibal is joining Norman Reedus in the Cast.  After watching this trailer a few times and taking in consideration the first trailer, I definitely get an H.P. Lovecraft feel from this world.  I am a rapid fan of the Silent Hill series.  With Konami’s unwillingness to continue with that franchise, it is promising to see projects like Death Stranding come together.  Take a look at the new trailer below.
