Funko Top Ten Horror Pops!

What are the best Funko Pops that celebrate the best horror movies and shows? We rank them.

Just admit it, we all love something about horror movies. Whether it’s Freddy haunting our dreams, encountering a Xenomorph in space or being chased by a possessed doll, we are drawn to the genre in some way. One thing Funko does best is transforming things we all love into 3 3/4 inches of collectible gold. Funko offers a variety or Horror Pops!, from Jason Voorhees to Pennywise the clown; there’s something for everyone. Since Halloween is around the corner I took an opportunity to rate my favorite horror Funko Pop! Let’s look at the Top Ten Horror Pops!

Released October 2017, this Pop! is offered in two variants, the other being the thawed livelier version of Jack. Also released in 2014, this Pop! features Captain Spaulding sporting his stars and stripes costume and is the only variant in this series. This is definitely one of the harder to find horror Pops! and the $65 value reflects that.

“Come on, kill me, I’m here, come on, Do it now!!!” This is where the countdown becomes a little more expensive, but each remaining Pop! is worth every penny. This bloody Predator variant was released at the San Diego Comic Con in 2013 and comes in both cloaked and regular versions. However, this version was limited to 1008 units and paired with another item on the countdown at that convention. Getting this Pop! is both difficult and expensive at $195.

  1. Alien SDCC Bloody Variant LE 1008

“Game over man, game over.” This green bloodied enemy of the Predator was also released in 2013 at the San Diego Comic Con and was limited to 1008. Luckily it also comes in a much cheaper non-bloody version. Both the Predator and the Alien are some of the few horror variants selected to be comic con exclusives and are a must-have for the seasoned horror collector. This addition will not come cheap at $250.

There were 5 variants of this Pop! with exclusives at Walmart, Hot Topic and FYE, including a chase variant that has already been vaulted. This is the IT (pun intended) item to have right now. But unless you can find these in stores your wallet will take a beating with the collection estimated at $229.

Congratulations to all those unfortunate souls lost at Camp Crystal Lake making this award possible. Released in 2015 at the San Diego Comic Con, Mr. Voorhees was limited to 1008 units and is one of the most sought-after horror pops. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on one these pops, make sure it’s not facing you on the shelf. This tiny bit of ugly is both the most expensive and hardest to find on the countdown valued at $270.
